Kate Middleton is three months pregnant with a baby girl according to Star Magazine.
"Little George is getting a sister, and Kate is absolutely thrilled" a
source said. "She was really hoping the next child would be a girl,
and having it confirmed has just given her the best start to the year.
Kate and William are ecstatic!"
"Kate has been talking about it to a number of people — she isn’t trying
to hide it. It’s so different from when she had George; she seems more
at peace now, because she knows what to expect," the source continued.
According to Star's story, Middleton had genetic testing to find out the gender of the fetus in advance.
"William was ecstatic. He couldn’t stop hugging her," another insider
told Star. "He was actually a little surprised, because he was convinced
it would be a boy. In his head, he was expecting a brother for George,
because he himself grew up with a little brother. But now that they know
a girl is on the way, it has really affected him emotionally. He knows
his mother, Princess Diana, would have been overjoyed."
Though there is no official information regarding Kate's pregnancy, bets
on the baby name are already being placed. Henry is a hot favorite for
boy and Diana for a girl.
