Last year the
first official portrait of Kate Middleton, the Duchess of
Cambridge was acquired and
presented to the public in the British National Gallery.
There was a private presentation and Paul Emsley who had portrayed the wife
of Prince William
presented the painting,
The "courtier" artist said
that he wanted to be honest with the object of his inspiration and earned
praise of the famous customer who is a historian actually.
However, the British media were quick to publish reviews of some critics, who claim that the Duchess of Cambridge is just a well-mannered person and did not want to offend the painter, whom she has personally chosen.
According to experts, Catherine Middleton in the picture looks a dozen years
older than in life. And the bags under the eyes and forced smile are not those things
that can add appeal to her portrait.
